Suspect arrested for string of Jefferson Co burglaries

JEFFERSON COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Jefferson County's Sheriff's Department arrested a person they believe is responsible for a string of burglaries of homes and hunting cottages.

Nine burglaries took place in November and December of 2013.

Fifty-one-year-old Fredrick Frisby of Jefferson County is being charged with Burglary of Building and Grand Larceny.

Officials have been investigating the case since the burglaries began in November of last year.  

Frisby disappeared back in November, only to turn up last night when he was arrested at the Natchez Walmart.

Police tell us he can be tied to at least 6 of of the 9 burglaries committed in the same area of last year.
