VICKSBURG, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Vicksburg Police have made two arrests in connection with the Ameristar Casino vehicle thefts.

Police responded to the Ameristar Casino Hotel regarding the theft of four vehicles on January 16th.

The victim reported he was hauling three vehicles with a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado; the three vehicles were attached to the Silverado via a Kaugman 50 foot trailer. These vehicles were described as a black 2014 Ford F-150, a white 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 pick-up, and a 2011 white Chevrolet van.

The Silverado and the van were recovered in Jackson on the same day the theft was reported.

On Thursday, Truesdell notified investigators that the suspects had returned to the casino.

Thirty-year-old Coymentia Epps and 31-year-old Jacqueline Alexander were arrested and charged with four counts of auto theft. Both were transported to the Issaquena County Correctional Facility.

They are scheduled to appear in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Friday, January 24th.
