(RNN) - In an attempt to promote health, fitness and the After-School All-Stars program, Arnold Schwarzenegger went undercover in a YouTube video as "Howard the physical fitness instructor."
At Gold's Gym in Venice, CA, the former Mr. Universe and governor worked the front desk, wiped sweat from a member's face and even turned a woman's water break into a workout.
He wasn't recognized by some, but one member said, "Come on, Arnold."
Schwarzenegger stayed in character, saying, "Howard is my name."
The After-School All-Stars charity is the leading national provider of year round, school-based after school programs.
According to the website, nearly 90,000 children benefit from the program in 14 U.S. regions: Atlanta, Chicago, Hawaii, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York, North Texas, Ohio, Orlando, San Antonio, San Diego, San Francisco Bay Area, South Florida and Washington, DC.
