Gulfport wreck sends two to hospital

GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) -

Traffic was blocked Wednesday morning on Three Rivers Road in Gulfport after two vehicles ended up in a ditch, and rescue crews had to work to free one of the victims from the wreckage.

Firefighters had to cut the top off a Hermetic Rush Services van to get the driver out.

The wreck sent two people to Garden Park Medical Center to be treated for injuries. The condition of the victims has not been released at this time.
