Sand Gnats to pitch to Columbia City Council

COLUMBIA, SC (WTOC) -

The owners of the Savannah Sand Gnats continue their courtship of Columbia, SC, on Tuesday. But that doesn't necessarily mean the team's relationship with Savannah is closer to ending.

Sand Gnats Owner Jason Freier confirmed to WTOC that he will make a presentation on Tuesday to the Columbia City Council and then they will consider whether to move forward with a feasibility study for a new stadium.

He also said the city of Savannah is working with them - and that could mean teams in both places.
