SEABROOK, SC (WTOC) -

Bond has been denied against the man who authorities say dropped off a gunshot victim in front of Beaufort Memorial Hospital on Saturday night.

Quinton Delaney Jr. remains at the Beaufort County Detention Center facing charges of speeding, unlawful carrying and unlawful possession of a handgun (with an obliterated serial number).

Family members of 27-year-old Tyrice Washington are trying to cope with his death. This is where he grew up and throughout the afternoon, we've seen more family members arrive here to comfort each other.

Washington's mother Veronica said the Seabrook community is mourning his loss.

Washington was the oldest of her children and she says words can't describe how it feels to have to have to bury her first born child.

Family members say he grew up in a home filled with love and was close to his family. Washington is survived by his wife and children.

Family members are in the process of preparing his funeral arrangements.

The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office said the details surrounding where and who shot Washington are still under investigation.
