Jackson County Supervisors File Charges Against Each Other

Two Jackson County supervisors have filed charges against each other.

The charges were filed by District Four Supervisor Frank Leach, and District Five Supervisor John McKay after an altercation at Monday's board meeting.

Leach told WLOX News he and McKay were trying to work out their differences in executive session when things got out of control.

Leach says McKay put his hands around his neck and began choking him.

McKay admits putting his hands on Leach's neck, but says it was only to push him away.

McKay says Leach punched him in the stomach. Leach denies hitting McKay.

Pascagoula Police won't say what charges were filed, only that the incident is under investigation.
