HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

A woman is dead and two men are in jail following a Saturday morning shooting in Hattiesburg.  The Forrest County Coroner's Office has identified the victim as Brandilyn Darty, 30.

Hattiesburg Police said she was shot once in the head at 117 Wisteria Drive about 1:30 a.m. They said she was then left at Vernon Dahmer Park where she was later found by police and transported to the hospital.

She died there about 3 a.m.

Officers arrested two men in connection with her shooting. Daniel Williams, 28, and Edward Miller, 34, were taken into custody at an apartment complex on Wisteria Drive.
