ELMORE CO., AL (WSFA) -

The Elmore County Emergency Management Agency and Homeland Security Office says there will be another out of cycle siren testing Friday, January 17th.

This re-testing is set to begin at 9 a.m. and is related to a glitch involving the new Polygon Warning System. This testing will help to clear out some of the issues.

Authorities stress these sirens are not hazard related and there is no danger.
