Even grander theft auto: Auto thief takes four vehicles at once

VICKSBURG, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Early Thursday morning, Vicksburg police were called to the Ameristar Casino Hotel regarding the theft of four vehicles.

According to the victim, he parked his 2008 Chevrolet Silverado in the parking lot, and about 30 minutes later when he returned his truck was gone.

The truck carrying three vehicles on a gooseneck trailer. 

The 2008 model truck carrying the trailer and one of the vehicles, a Dodge Ram 2500, were recovered in Jackson.

Officials say the other two vehicles on the trailer were listed in the report as a 2014 Ford F-150 and an unspecified model Ford EconoVan.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact an investigator with the Vicksburg Police Department at 601.636.2511 or Central Mississippi CrimeStoppers at 601.355.TIPS.

According to Vicksburg Daily News, anyone contacting CrimeStoppers with information leading to an arrest and successful prosecution could receive up to a $2,500 cash reward.
