BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

Police have charged three female suspects with robbery after a shooting at a Fairfield hotel left one man dead. Two of the women are in jail and a third is still on the loose.

Brianna Ivey, 19, Jessica Duckworth, 21, and Tempest Garner, 23, are each charged with three counts of first degree robbery. They have a $60,000 bond on each charge.

Ivey and Duckworth are in custody, but police are still looking for Garner. Police Chief Leon Davis says anyone who knows her location should contact the Fairfield Police Department at 205-786-4111.

The shooting happened at America's Best Inn on Kelco Place just before 1:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.

According to police, a car was leaving the scene when they arrived. One person in that car had been shot. Police started asking questions and, according to the people in the car, they were in a hotel room with three female guests when a man came into the room and tried to rob them.

Police say one of the people in the room shot at the man and killed him. He has been identified as Lionel Williams, 35.

Fairfield Police believe the three women had something to do with the robbery. Additional charges are expected to be filed in the case.
