Hancock Lady Hawks have reeled off 15 wins in 16 games

KILN, MS (WLOX) - Hancock head coach Pam Slayton watched her Lady Hawks fly under the win column consistently, reeling off 15 consecutive wins before they dropped their first game of the season.

Hancock has the ability to pull the trigger from the outside with the likes of Tiffany Eakins and Leigh Beaver or they can get the ball inside.

Slayton said,"Savannah Saucier and Destiny Marks have been scoring very well inside for us, been consistent and steady."

Alissa Adam runs the Hancock attack. Coach Slayton has nothing but high praise for the junior standout.

"She directs the traffic,"stated Slayton. "She's done a great marvelous job of that. She's a Warrior.'

Alissa Adam said,"We work really well together. We work really well with out coach. We're all determined, want to be here, but come district time that's when it really counts."@

Everything was going smoothly until Hancock traveled to Harrison Central last week and the Red Rebelettes, the hottest girls team on the coast, ended the Lady Hawks win streak at 15 with a dominating 65-42 victory.

The Lady Hawks are ready to bounce back under the win column beginning Tuesday night at Gulfport.
