Week's deep freeze causes MSU problems

Posted: Updated:
STARKVILLE, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

This week's deep freeze caused major problems in three dormitories at Mississippi State University.

School officials said one wing at Ruby Hall will be closed for the whole Spring semester, while repairs at Oak and Magnolia Halls could be finished in a few days.

The freezing temperatures ruptured pipes and flooded the buildings.

The university said about 120 students will be displaced from the dorms.
