Western MA feels arctic chill

Posted: Updated:

Temperatures will feel sub-zero Tuesday as another arctic cold front pushes its way through the Pioneer Valley, bringing us a bitterly cold wind chill, according to CBS 3 Springfield Meteorologist Nick Morganelli.

Clear skies have allowed air temperatures to dip close to zero earlier today, while thermometers will register mostly in the low 10s this afternoon.

"No matter how you look at it, thermometer or the 'feel-like' temperature of the wind, it's frigid," Morganelli said.

Milder air will move in Friday through Sunday, along with a few mixed showers, as this latest arctic spell departs Thursday, Morganelli said.
