BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

The man who was found murdered in his Biloxi apartment on Thursday has been identified.

Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove said the victim was 63-year-old Carmen Edwards of Biloxi. He said the cause of death was blunt force trauma.

Biloxi Police Chief John Miller confirmed Friday morning that the death was being investigated as a homicide.

Miller said the body of Edwards was found Thursday afternoon inside an apartment unit at the Maison D'Orleans apartment complex on Highway 90.

Investigator Steve Schlicht said police are currently looking for 43-year-old Michael Floyd Wilson, also known as Pretty Boy Floyd, as a person of interest in the investigation.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Biloxi Police Department at 228-392-0641 or Crime Stoppers at 1-877-787-5898.
