MS charter buses take BAMA fans to Sugar Bowl

SOUTH MISSISSIPPI (WLOX) - Several hundred Alabama football fans boarded charter buses this morning at coast casinos. They're headed to New Orleans today for the big Sugar Bowl showdown against Oklahoma.

Several fans told WLOX News that staying on the Mississippi Gulf Coast was an easy decision.  It allowed them to "gamble a little bit" and provided easy access to tonight's game, with somebody else doing the driving.

Several charter bus companies picked up fans at several coast casinos this morning. A Howard bus driver said his company was picking up 50 passengers at Beau Rivage, and roughly another 50 from two other casinos.

Tide fans were decked out in their Alabama hats, shirts and scarves. Not surprisingly, we didn't run into a single Oklahoma fan.
