Sgt. Stauffer and Officer Joseph Maher were shot while responding to a robbery, at  BancorpSouth Gloster Creek Village Branch, in the 400 block of S. Gloster Street in Tupelo.

A $162,500 reward is being offered for information in connection to the shootings and bank robbery.

While the shooting investigation continues, Sgt. Stauffer's wife and mother say the family is trying to stay strong.
