VICKSBURG, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

On Friday, Vicksburg Police responded to a school regarding a disturbance between students.

Investigators were able to determine the disturbance at the school was the result of a drive-by-shooting that occurred on Thursday, December 12.

Both 14-year-old Elijah Qualls and 15-year-old DeAundre Trisby were taken into custody, charged in the drive-by shooting, and sent to the Warren County Detention Center.
