Tucson, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The annual Fourth Avenue Winter Street Fair will take place this weekend with an estimated attendance of 300,000 people.

Motorists driving in this area might experience delays associated with this event and other road improvement projects, according to a news release.

Beginning today at 1 p.m. until about midnight on Dec. 15, Fourth Avenue will be closed between University Blvd. and Ninth Street.

Parking for this event with free shuttle service is provided from either the Main Gate Square Garages (Euclid Avenue at First Street, or Tyndall Avenue at Fourth Street), or at the Pennington Street Garage at 110 E. Pennington Street.

The city of Tucson also urges drivers to remain cautious due to the increase of pedestrians in the area and obey all traffic control.

The street fair will run Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
