A preliminary hearing scheduled for Wednesday for a woman charged in a fatal hit-and-run on Thanksgiving Day has been postponed until Jan. 8.

Police say Jessica Krebs, 25, hit Jonathan Edwards, 35, near the Spence Grayson Bridge on Johnny Mercer Boulevard and left the scene.

Officials say Krebs drove home after it happened and called police to report her windshield was broken.

Krebs is currently being held without bond. She is charged with DUI, hit-and-run with fatal injuries, and first-degree vehicular homicide.
