BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - The Biloxi Planning Commission voted unanimously Thursday afternoon to allow the removal of 19 trees for building a baseball stadium in downtown Biloxi.  However, commissioners want the developer to replace those trees one to one with new live oaks at least four inches in diameter.  Those new trees can be planted anywhere in the city.

Architects said removing the trees was critical if they were going to build a ballpark on Beau Rivage property north of Highway 90.
