WLOX helps "Sounds" celebrates its silver anniversary

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

You watch Karen Abernathy, Meggan Gray, Rebecca Powers and Rhonda Weidner each day on WLOX.  Tonight, you have a chance to see the quarter on stage at the IP.

The WLOX anchors will perform their rendition of "Santa Baby" during Sounds of the Holidays silver anniversary concert.  The show raises money for the American Heart Association.

Former WLOX personality Barbara Salloum created Sounds of the Holidays 25 years ago.  Since then, her dream has grown in a major fundraiser for the heart association.  Over the years, the holiday concert has raised more than one million dollars for heart disease research.

Tonight, Barbara Salloum returns to the stage.  She'll perform a song to help celebrate the concert's silver anniversary.

Be sure to watch the 4 O'clock Show today.  Karen Abernathy talks with Barbara about Sounds of the Holidays, and what it means to her.

Tickets for Sounds of the Holidays are $20.  They can be purchased on line by clicking here and going to the concert's website.
