No. 15 Florida to travel to No. 13 UConn on Monday

No. 15 Florida will take on undefeated No. 13 Connecticut on Monday night. No. 15 Florida will take on undefeated No. 13 Connecticut on Monday night.

MANSFIELD, CT (RNN) - No. 15 Florida is hitting the road to take on undefeated No. 13 Connecticut on Monday night.

The Gators (6-1) are coming off a narrow victory over archrival Florida State last Friday. The Seminoles outscored the Gators on the free throw line, but Florida was helped by making six of their 16 3-pointers. Florida State only made two out of 10.

The Huskies (7-0) are coming off a 76-66 win over Loyola (MD) last Tuesday. UConn made 51 percent of its field goals, 43 percent of its 14 3-pointers and 70 percent of its 20 free throws.

Florida and UConn are fairly close to average points scored and points allowed. The Gators are averaging 73.6 points and allowing 60.3 points. The Huskies are scoring 77.6 points but allowing 64 points per game.

Tipoff at the Harry A. Gampel Pavilion is at 7 p.m. ET and will air on ESPN2.
