STARKVILLE, MS (RNN) - In a game that featured 13 ties and 20 lead changes, Mississippi State pulled out a 65-64 win in overtime at home on Sunday.

The Bulldogs (5-1) made only a quarter of their 16 3-pointers, but Craig Swords' leading 24 points and 3-point shot in overtime helped Mississippi State escape the Ramblers (3-5). Roquez Johnson scored a career-best 20 points and led the Bulldogs with 11 rebounds.

Mississippi State will play TCU as part of the Big 12/SEC Challenge on Thursday, Dec. 5.
