BREAKING NEWS: Shooting in St. Martin

ST. MARTIN, MS (WLOX) -

Lieutenant Chad Heck, with the Jackson County Criminal Investigations Department, has confirmed that one man has been shot in St. Martin.

Authorities said that police responded to a reported shooting at about 1:30 p.m. in St. Martin on Cortez Circle. Heck said that multiple suspects are in custody at this time.

The Jackson County Sheriff's Department cannot confirm one person has been shot, but Acadian Ambulance Service confirms that they responded to the shooting and transported one person with injuries to the hospital.

The investigation is ongoing.
