LSU crushes Saint Joseph's in Old Spice Classic

LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL (RNN) - After 10 minutes into the game, LSU pulled away and dominated Saint Joseph's, winning 82-65 in the first round of the Old Spice Classic.

The Tigers (4-1) and the Hawks (2-2) went back and forth for the first 10 minutes. But LSU finally grabbed the lead and held on to it through the end, aided largely by their better field goal, 3-pointer and free throw shooting.

Andre Stringer led the Tigers with 18 points and six assists. Jordan Mickey scored 14 points and led with 10 rebounds.

LSU advances to the semifinal round of the Old Spice Classic and will take on the No. 21 Memphis Tigers on Friday, Nov. 29. It will air on ESPN2.

These bags contain new and gender-neutral fleece blankets, stuffed animals, hygiene kits and activity books. To fill the next 100 bags, organizers need help. They need people to donate blankets and hygiene kits.
