Wynne double murder suspects plead not guilty

WYNNE, AR (KAIT) - Two men accused in the murder of two people in Wynne have pleaded not guilty.

Dylan Peyton and Cornelius Hakeem Collins entered the plea during their court appearance Thursday.

The shooting on Colorado Street happened Nov. 26 where Jessica McNair, 29, and Albert Beverly, 31, were killed, according Wynne Police Chief Jeff Sanders.

Sanders said when they arrived on the scene they saw Beverly laying in the yard. Then police found McNair who lived at the house where the fight began. 

Police Peyton the following day. Collins was arrested on Dec. 1 after turning himself over to police.

Both men are charged with capital murder and are in the Cross County Jail.

They are scheduled to be in court again in January.
