TN sheriff does not resign, faces sexual allegations

MADISON COUNTY, TN -

(WMC-TV) - A West Tennessee sheriff has decided not to resign amid sexual harassment allegations.

The Madison County Sheriff David Woolfork had until Monday, November 25, at 5 p.m. to step down.

On November 18, the commission instructed the county attorney to file an ouster lawsuit if Woolfork did not resign within seven days.

Woolfork is under investigation for allegedly sexually harassing two female deputies.
