HARRISON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - An accident on Interstate 10 has eastbound traffic backed up near mile marker 28. That's just west of the Wolf River.
Officials said a large truck carrying soft drinks jack knifed in the eastbound lane around 2:30 Friday afternoon. The truck ran off the road, and came to rest in the woods. That crash caused another trailer towing vehicles to jack knife. Several other vehicles may have been involved in minor traffic collisions, or run off the road.
No serious injuries are being reported at this time. But drivers are being cautioned to avoid the area, if possible.
