No injuries in Harrison Co. fire

HARRISON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - No one was injured in a fire on West Wortham Road Thursday night, but the fire is still under investigation.

Harrison County Fire Chief Pat Sullivan said an unoccupied, single story wood-frame structure went up in flames around 9pm. A passer-by saw the house fully involved in fire and called authorities.

Units from Lizana, Saucier, and Woolmarket responded, along with Harrison County fire services. Six units and a total of 15 firefighters were on the scene to bring the blaze under control.
