Mississippi State at home against Kennesaw State of A-Sun Conference

(RNN) - Mississippi State, 1-0, plays Kennesaw State on Thursday, Nov. 14. The Bulldogs beat Prairie View last week 71-56 in their season opener as Gavin Ware scored 15 points with 15 rebounds.

Kennesaw State of the Atlantic Sun Conference is 1-3 after three straight opening losses to Youngstown State, Eastern Kentucky and Florida International.

The Owls clobbered Warren Wilson 92-48 in their last outing.

Mississippi State will host Mississippi Valley State next Tuesday, Nov. 19.

That scheduling quirk may give field turf crews just enough time to get War Memorial Stadium ready for the September 8 home opener. The wet weather in South Mississippi is placing quite the burden on construction workers as they attempt to complete stadium renovations. The project was suppose to be finished before the beginning of Pascagoula's football season.
