Springfield police have arrested three men early Wednesday morning for allegedly stealing a truck and crashing it into a home.
Police said officers were patrolling Main Street, downtown Springfield when they noticed a Dodge Ram 1500 pick-up truck that had been recently reported stolen.
According to police the truck was traveling towards West Springfield when two officers caught up with the truck. That's when police said the vehicle made a sudden turn and sped into a front yard, crashing into a house located on Roosevelt Avenue.
According to police, no one was injured inside of the home, but the front entrance was damaged. The truck was confirmed totaled after the impact caused it to flip over.
Police said there were three men inside of the truck, Patrick Brown, 20, Travis Washington, 19, and L'varius Jones, 19 and none of them were injured.
All three suspects are facing multiple charges including, receiving a stolen motor vehicle, failing to stop for police and reckless operation.
