The top two JUCO football teams in the nation will square off in Biloxi in December

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

Number one ranked Georgia Military and number two ranked East Mississippi will clash for in the NJCAA championship game in Biloxi in the sixth annual Mississippi Bowl.

"The committee is excited about the opportunity to host the 2013 NJCAA Football National Championship," said Mississippi Bowl committee chair Ladd Taylor.  "It's a tremendous responsibility and our event staff is determined to make the 2013 Mississippi Bowl the best and most memorable one to date."

Undefeated East Mississippi has run off an 11-0 record and captured a third MACJC championship in the last five seasons.  The Lions defeated Jones 61-24.  East Mississippi has dominated the opposition having piled up 685 points while the Lions defense has given up only 85 points.  That averages out to a 63-7 advantage in 11 games this season.

EMCC head coach Buddy Stephens said, "I'm very proud of our team and I feel extremely blessed to be a part of East Mississippi Community College."

Georgia Military posted an 11-0 record and actually opened the 2013 season with a 37-21 win over Blinn College at A.L. May Memorial Stadium in Perkinston.  The Bulldogs have outscored the opposition 46 to 17.

Georgia Military head coach Bert Williams said,"It's hard to play at such a high level for a long stretch of time." I'm proud of our guys for maintaining that level of play throughout the season.

He feels like his team will be at full-strength heading into the biggest game of the year.

The NJCAA title game will kick off at 2:00.
