TPSO & DEA team up to arrest 2 suspected drug dealers

NATALBANY, LA (WAFB) -

Authorities said two people have been arrested on several drug charges following a joint investigation.

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office said Terrance "Red" Miller, 35, and Tyron "Pootie" Perkins, 29, both of Natalbany, were taken into custody Tuesday.

Miller faces the following charges:

Possession of CDS Schedule II

Possession of CDS Schedule IV

Possession with the intent to distribute (2 counts)

Resisting arrest

Perkins is charged with three counts of possession with the intent to distribute CDS Schedule II. 

Deputies said they seized a BMW, an SUV and $1,000 in cash as the result of a search warrant.

Sheriff Daniel Edwards said TPSO and the DEA partnered up for this investigation.
