GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) -

Gulfport police arrested Adam Joseph Seebold, 20, of Bay St. Louis Saturday after he allegedly entered someone's parked vehicles.

According to Gulfport Police Chief Leonard Papania, the victim told police the suspect entered the vehicles around 3:30 in the morning. But when the suspect saw the victim, he reportedly fled the scene in a silver vehicle.

Papania said the driver of the vehicle was Jade Nicole Henegan of Diamondhead. Police later located the suspect at a gas station not far from the alleged burglary.

That's when officers said he attempted to flee on foot, but was eventually arrested. On Monday, Henegan was also arrested charged with burglary of a vehicle.

Seebold was arrested and transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center on a $28,000 bond set by Judge Brandon Ladner. Henegan was also taken to the detention center on a $20,000 bond.

Full-time Waveland city workers, primarily police officers, who take-home vehicles outside of the city limits could see a change to the city's policy soon. City leaders said the current policy is antiquated and needs to be rewritten into something that would benefit both the officers and the taxpayers.
