Two men in boating accident have been identified.

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

We now know more information about the two missing boaters found dead after they wrecked their 17 foot boat into a dock off the shore of Skidaway Island. The Georgia Department of Natural Resources identified the men as 59-year-old Randy Boatright and 58-year-old Billy Hugh Carter, both of Savannah. Friends say the men worked at the international paper.

Investigators say the men were killed when their outboard motor boat struck a dock located just off of Noble View Road in South Harbor. Both men sustained massive head trauma in the crash that likely happened in the early morning hours Thursday.

Autopsies of both victims will be performed in the coming days at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Savannah Lab.
