Going trick or treating? Here are a few safety tips.
Take along a flashlight so you can see. Wear reflective clothing so drivers can see you. Those decorative contact lenses may not be a good idea. Don't trick or treat alone. It's more fun in a group anyway. Beware of homemade treats made by strangers. Watch out for choking hazards for young ones.
Every year at this time, children are injured in a variety of ways from burns from open flame jack-o-lanterns to being hit by cars. Make sure that does not happen here.
The biggest treat of the night will be the return home of everyone safely to enjoy their treats.
