JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Three children were shot overnight in south Jackson in what appears to be a drive-by shooting.

At least 15 shots were fired into the house located in the 3800 block of Camilla Drive. JPD got the call round midnight.

Today family members identified the victims as Zakeriana Jefferson, age 7, Corrion Igbadi age 5, and Jaylen Powell age 3.

All three have non-life threatening injuries, but will need to undergo some type of surgery.

Neighbor Reverend P.J. Williams says, "The violence needs to stop, the people thats doing the violence and shooting they need to stop it. That's the only way it's going to stop. Were going to have to show more love instead of hate. Whatever is going on it don't cause for nobody to come in and shoot up a house and get kids shot."

Neighbors say the victims were two boys and a girl; adding that a bullet struck the girl's face and she was also shot in the leg. One of the boys was shot in the back and the other in the leg.
