3rd arrest in Ridgeland credit union robbery

Posted: Updated:
RIDGELAND, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A third, and likely final, arrest has been made in the robbery of a Ridgeland credit union. Thirty-seven-year-old Adrion Stokes faces charges of robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, and conspiracy to commit kidnapping.

He was arrested on October 10 at a residence in Jackson. He joins Olivia Walker and Kenyatta McGee as suspects in the robbery and kidnapping at the Members Exchange Credit Union in September.

Surveillance video shows a man, believed to be McGee, gaining access through an employee door, and spraypainting the camera to try to hide his tracks. Police say he waited until two female employees entered. He tied them up and then took cash from the vault.

Stokes is believed to have driven the getaway car.

Walker was an employee of the credit union.
