EFFINGHAM CO., GA (WTOC) -

A man in Effingham County is facing drug charges after a traffic stop caught on camera leads to a meth lab arrest.

Officials arrested Watson Waters after they stopped him in Guyton around noon Tuesday and smelled marijuana in his truck. The traffic stop lead deputies to Waters' home on Pine Street in Eden and found methamphetimines and the makings of a meth lab.

Officials say Waters has an extensive criminal history including several meth charges across Georgia and South Carolina. He also has an active warrant out of Chatham County.

Waters is in the Effingham County Jail charged with trafficking and possession.

As Ja-Naya Thompson's short life was celebrated, there were a lot of tears and hugs as hundreds of people paid their respects during the visitation and the funeral service.
