SCOTTSDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

Scottsdale police have identified a woman who was killed after she drove through a stop sign and collided with a pickup truck Thursday afternoon.

Police said Edna Lucille Willis, of Scottsdale, was driving a 1994 Ford Taurus north on Lakeview Drive about 2:15 p.m. Thursday and failed to stop at the stop sign at Shea Boulevard.

A 2008 Dodge pickup truck driven by Jonathan Wayne Lades struck the driver's side of Willis' car in the intersection.

Willis was taken to Scottsdale Healthcare-Osborn Hospital, where she died.

Lades suffered minor injuries, according to police.

The roadway was closed for about three hours while police investigated.
