Men sentenced for involvement in 2012 east Toledo murder

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Two men were sentenced Tuesday morning for their involvement in a Toledo man's death in October 2012.

Chaz Jackson and Andrew Goetz were sentenced on aggravated robbery charges in the Ravine Park murder of Jonathan Morris back on Oct. 5, 2012. 

Jackson was sentenced to four years with 250 days already served, and Goetz was sentenced to six years with 264 days already served.

Jonathon Johnson pleaded guilty in the robbery turned murder, and was convicted Oct. 3. He will be sentenced Oct. 22.

    Mississippi Highway Patrol is warning drivers to be extra cautious while out on the road this Memorial Day weekend. The agency's "Drive to Survive" initiative kicked off Friday at 6 p.m. and runs through Memorial Day at midnight.
