HANCOCK COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - Glen Davis the man accused of killing Hancock County businessman Maurice Colly pleaded not guilty to murder during his arraignment Monday at the Hancock County Courthouse.
Davis appeared before Judge Larry Bourgeois who set Davis's murder trial date for April 7, 2014.
His attorney Bill Whitman has filed a motion against the court alleging a violation to Davis' right to a speedy trail.
Judge Bourgeois said that motion will be heard at a later date. Davis faces charges of murder, embezzlement, burglary and auto theft.
He is being held at the Hancock County Jail.
