2 women hit by car after bar fight in west Toledo

Two women were injured after getting hit by a vehicle in the parking lot of a west Toledo bar.

The confrontation happened around 1:30 a.m. Saturday at Delaney's Bar, 309 W Alexis Road.

According to police, a fight between a group of men began inside of the bar, eventually leading out to the parking lot.

Witnesses on the scene say the two men hopped in a car, and deliberately backed their vehicle into bystanders while leaving the scene. The vehicle struck two women standing outside of the bar.

One woman was transported to a local hospital. The other woman was treated on the scene for her injuries and later released.

Police located the car involved in the incident, but have not confirmed if any suspects linked to the hit and run have been arrested.

Alcohol was a factor in the incident.
