CANTON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Good shopping and food have filled up the historic square in Canton for the bi-annual Canton Flea Market.

The shopping started early, early Thursday morning with shoppers walking from vendor to vendor in the dark.

With the holidays right around the corner you can find all sorts of unique and antique gifts and accessories at the flea market.

Along with the good shopping you can also indulge in some tasty food too.

Many of the shoppers have come across the country to take part in the fun.

"My momma told me she was like yeah the flea market will be here in a couple of weeks I was like ok let me make that point to hop on the plane and come down spend some time with you guys because I hadn't seen you in a minute and do some wonderful shopping at the flea market," said Ambria McDonald, Canton Flea Market shopper.

If you didn't make it out to the flea market earlier, well, there's still time to shop because the market doesn't close until 5 p.m.
