Police: Suspect in vehicle burglaries at casino parking garages arrested

Posted: Updated:
BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

A Gulfport man is behind bars accused of multiple vehicle burglaries, according to Biloxi police Sgt. Tim McKaig.

McKaig said 31-year-old Darius Tramayne Wooten is charged with three counts of burglary of an auto and possession of a stolen firearm.

McKaig said the burglaries all occurred in parking garages at Biloxi casinos.

All the stolen property was recovered from Wooten's car after he was stopped for suspicious activity, McKaig said.

McKaig said Wooten had a gun that was also found in his car. That gun was allegedly stolen from a car in September.

Wooten was arrested and is being held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center on a $40,000 bond set by Judge Strong.
