UPDATE: Mississippi no longer under a tropical storm watch

SOUTH MISSISSIPPI (WLOX) - South Mississippi is no longer under a tropical storm watch.

At one point, Tropical Storm Karen was at a standstill. Now, the storm is barely moving. WLOX Meteorologist Joel Young says the storm is now predicted to move parallel south of the coast.

A tropical storm watch is still in effect for southeast Louisiana.
