FIrst Alert Traffic offers easy to understand real time traffic speeds, accident reports, construction delays.

Thousands of Savannah area and Lowcountry residents have downloaded the free WTOC Weather and News app.

The app for iPhone, iPads, and Droid phones and tablets features breaking news alerts, livestreaming video of newscasts, gas price finder, sports scores, and video on demand - but there's a brand-new feature we wanted to share with you.

WTOC now delivers real-traffic information. All you have to do is download the Weather app or update your current WTOC Weather app in the iTunes or Android Play stores.

After you open the app, scroll through to the First Alert Traffic Map. 

Your screen will now show a traffic map. Just zoom in to get as close as you want.

If you see something you want to know more about, click the icon to learn more about what's slowing traffic down.
