D'Iberville can strike from anyplace on the playing field using an unlimited amount of offensive weapons.
6-foot-2, 205 pound senior running back Quantrell Reddix has piled up 639 yards rushing with 6 touchdowns.
6-foot, 190 pound senior quarterback Jo Jo Warrick has over 400 yards passing and close to 200 yards rushing.
6-foot-2, 205 pound senior wide receiver Rashad Moore hasn't had many passes thrown his way, because head coach
Buddy Singleton relies mostly on the running game. However, Moore has 13 receptions for 338 yards... that's an average of 26 yards per catch.
Moore grabbed 4 passes for 213 yards in Friday's big win over arch-rival Biloxi. One of those receptions was a flea-flicker pass that covered
83 yards for a touchdown. Coach Buddy Singleton says Moore also excels in the classroom.
"Rashad is a great student. Matter of fact, he'll probably finish with the highest honors," stated Singleton. "He's got great hands and good jumping ability."
Moore said,"I run a 4.6 forty. Really it's more about making the best of your opportunities when you get the ball, you want to make something happen."
Moore says besides speed he also has a knack of making the tough catches. "I have good hands, real sure hands and second to that is my route running."
The D'Iberville Warriors will have the home field advantage Friday night at 7, hosting the 4 and 1 Ocean Springs Greyhounds.
