WARREN COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Two Vicksburg residents were killed in a one-vehicle accident in Warren County Wednesday afternoon.

Mississippi Highway Patrol spokesperson Eric Henry says it happened on Highway 465 just north of Eagle Lake around 1 p.m.

Henry says a silver Ford Expedition traveling north on Highway 465 left the roadway to the right and overcorrected back onto the roadway before overturning. Both the driver and the passenger were ejected.

Henry said the victims were not wearing seatbelts.

The driver has been identified as Jeannie Wooten, 40, of Vicksburg, and the passenger has been identified as Toney Wooten, 51, of Vicksburg. Henry said the victims were brother-in-law and sister-in-law. The MHP had previously identified the victims as brother and sister.
